Bought this yesterday at a local surf shop. After some struggles to get the keys on the super tight ring I also noticed that the spring loaded hook was tricky to open and close as it could pinch your skin when pushing to open. But I can work that out.
Sadly today my daughter 6 year old picked up my keys and pinched her finger pretty good. The spring loaded closure made it hard for her to get off and it punctured through her skin. So we will take this off my keys for know and stick with the lanyard style.

We take safety seriously and will be passing your feedback along to our product team right away. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

I'd 100% suggest this to anyone who wants a minimal clip to help keep your personal items close. So happy I bought 2!

I ordered this as a backup to a more flashy lanyard in case I wanted something more small and functional. I need up switching to only this because I loved the size and flexibility. You can put keys in both ends and it’s super easy to clip on to bags or backpacks. overall my new go to and favorite!
